About the role
- IT System Engineer managing AIX servers and Infor LN landscapes for a leading fire protection company. Responsibilities include system maintenance, integration, and updates in Sarstedt.
Responsibilities
- Administration and further development of AIX server systems, including firmware and OS updates as well as resource monitoring
- Support and optimization of the Infor LN landscape, including database connectivity and interface maintenance
- Design, implementation and monitoring of ION/IOS integrations between LN, the company web shop, Wamas and other systems
- Planning and execution of production updates
- Performing maintenance and migrations of, for example, AIX servers, LN databases, ION/IOS
Requirements
- Completed training as a system administrator or a university degree in IT
- Ideally several years of experience with IBM AIX, Infor LN, ION, IOS or comparable systems
- Knowledge of networks, interface technologies, and Oracle and SQL databases
- Team player with a structured and independent working style
- Willingness to perform occasional maintenance tasks outside core working hours
