About the role

  • Supply Chain Planner responsible for managing inbound non-conformance and collaborating cross-functionally at GPC Asia Pacific. Ensuring timely resolution and optimal supply plans for supplier partners.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end process for Supply Chain for inbound non-conformance, including documentation, collaboration with suppliers, drive corrective actions, and ensure timely resolution based on defined priority level.
  • Coordinate with internal departments such as Merch team, QA, Import Department, Procurement, EDI Team and DC to manage inbound issues and prevent recurrence.
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings to review non-conformance cases and drive corrective/preventive actions.
  • Drive communication and training programs to raise awareness of NCI impacts on inventory and availability across relevant teams.
  • Implement and maintain procedures related to inbound non-conformance management in collaboration with key stakeholders e.g. Decision tree for acceptance or return of non-conforming items.
  • Ensure Inbound Non Conformance enquiries are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain NCI reports and metrics to track performance and supplier quality compliance to reduce future NCI occurrences.
  • Analyse non-conformance data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Regular review cycles (monthly) to assess progress on NCI reduction and process enhancements.
  • Identification of recurring issues and root causes to prevent repeat occurrences.
  • Additionally, monitor purchase forecasts, supply, availability, and other various elements of purchasing, planning and S&OP.

Requirements

  • Experience in Supply Planning and/or Demand Planning roles
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, and ideally exposure to Planning systems (JDA, Blue Yonder, Relex, Logility, SAP, etc…)
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Strong drive to meet business deadlines and display resilience in a fast-paced work environment
  • Effective time management and capabilities to prioritise tasks
  • Ability to develop trusted professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proactive problem-solving ability
  • A curious mind, focusing on solutions supported by sound analytics
  • Well-developed negotiation skills
