About the role

  • Part-time Event Support Staff coordinating meal packing events for U.S. Hunger. Engaging with volunteers and ensuring impactful events across the country.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure successful, engaging, and impactful events all across the country for our partners and volunteers
  • Connect with clients and volunteers ensuring excellent customer service during our Hunger Projects
  • Educate volunteers about U.S. Hunger and our initiatives
  • Coordinate and facilitate Hunger Project event setup and breakdown
  • Ensure food safety guidelines are followed

Requirements

  • Must by 18 years of age or older
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Enthusiastic, strong interpersonal skills, and positive attitude
  • Attentive to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully work with large groups of people
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and move around on a floor for hours at a time
  • Background check and driving history report are required for this role
