About the role

Responsibilities

  • Planning and coordination of worldwide service, repair and maintenance operations for lifeboats and davits for German and international naval projects
  • Repair planning and coordination as well as technical support for service technicians
  • Preparation of technical documentation such as service and repair reports in German and English
  • Coordination and communication with customers, subcontractors and our technical department
  • Telephone and written customer support
  • Expansion of our service/repair/maintenance business area for lifeboats / davits / access systems of naval vessels
  • Administrative tasks within the scope of responsibilities (order processing and invoicing)

Requirements

  • Completed advanced training as a master craftsman (Meister), or technician in shipbuilding, boatbuilding or plant engineering, or an equivalent qualification
  • Initial professional experience as a service manager and/or with naval projects desirable but not mandatory
  • Proficient knowledge of PPS systems (production planning/scheduling systems) and good MS Office skills
  • Spoken and written English skills
  • Strong customer orientation, entrepreneurial and team-oriented mindset, good communication skills, and a flexible, solution-focused approach
