Responsibilities
Support in the field of refrigeration, air conditioning & ventilation technology for shipbuilding
Development of technical concepts and preparation of specifications for the approval and procurement process
Sizing and calculations of the systems
Definition, coordination and management of interfaces with suppliers
Evaluation of offers and preparation of decision proposals regarding technical risk and cost assessments
Review and assessment of suppliers' design documentation
Preparation and/or review of schematic piping diagrams based on the construction specification and classification society rules
Creation and/or review of 3D models in the area of refrigeration, air conditioning & ventilation technology
Technical coordination with customers and system suppliers
Collaboration with other design departments and production
Requirements
Completed technical or scientific degree or technician qualification (m/f/d)
Professional experience in the field and experience with integration in shipbuilding desirable
Confident knowledge of regulations and guidelines, preferably classification society rules and SOLAS
Proficient user of the design software AutoCAD and good MS Office skills
Good written and spoken English in the technical field
Confident demeanour, independence, assertiveness, and strong communication and team skills
