Responsibilities
Tasks in the field of shipboard auxiliary systems, including heating and freshwater systems (including generation), sewage systems (including treatment), bilge, ballast and fire-fighting systems, special fire-fighting systems (gas, water mist, sprinkler, foam, monitors) and compressed air systems
Development of technical concepts and preparation of specifications for approval and procurement processes
Design and calculations of ship operational systems
Creation and maintenance of schematic piping diagrams based on construction specifications and classification rules in collaboration with our product design team
Technical coordination with customers and suppliers, evaluation of offers and preparation of decision proposals
Technical risk and cost assessments
Collaboration with other design departments and production/manufacturing
Requirements
Completed technical or scientific degree or technician qualification (m/f/d)
Professional experience in the field; experience with integration in shipbuilding is desirable
Experience using CAD software for schematic creation and good MS Office skills
Good written and spoken English with technical proficiency
Confident demeanor, ability to work independently, assertiveness, and strong communication and team skills
