About the role

  • Field Territory Manager at Farmers responsible for managing agency partnerships and driving premium growth. Focused on financial operational targets with required field travel.

Responsibilities

  • Owns and manages assigned territory driving profitable growth to achieve financial and operational targets.
  • Leads, develops, and executes territory tactical plan and agency management processes.
  • Independently builds and cultivates mutually beneficial agency partnerships.
  • Acts as a trusted advisor while delivering product, underwriting philosophy, appetite, and system training.
  • Creates, maintains, and executes high quality agency strategies and plans.
  • Collaborates with field distribution partners to plan and align strategic and tactical components.
  • Drives and ensures quality of new business flow, appropriate mix of business, and overall risk management.
  • Serves as a subject matter specialist to assist in leading, collaborating, influencing, and supporting internal business partners.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • CIC, CPCU, or insurance licenses preferred
  • Minimum five years of field insurance sales and management work experience
  • Experience achieving consistent profitable premium growth and sales success
  • Portfolio management experience
  • Valid driver's license
