About the role

• Infrastructure Architect at Pague Menos responsible for designing secure, scalable IT infrastructure architectures. Collaborating with teams to implement and optimize both on-premise and cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design secure, scalable, and highly available IT infrastructure architectures (on-premises, cloud, or hybrid);
• Define standards, guidelines, and best practices for servers, networking, storage, virtualization, and security;
• Evaluate and select technologies and solutions that meet business requirements;
• Support the implementation of new projects, ensuring alignment with the defined architecture;
• Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance, seeking efficiency and cost reduction;
• Ensure the security and continuity of IT environments, including backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies;
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams, promoting integration across areas;
• Document environments and architectural decisions, maintaining clear, up-to-date records.

Requirements

• Postgraduate degree or specialization (preferred) in: IT Architecture, Information Security, Network Infrastructure, Cloud Computing, or Technology Management;
• Technical certifications are an important differential, such as: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, and VMware (VCP);
• Solid experience in IT infrastructure;
• Strong background in administrating complex environments, including servers, networking, security, virtualization, and cloud;
• Proven experience in designing and implementing infrastructure architectures, including hybrid environments (on-premises + cloud);
• Participation in migration, modernization, or infrastructure expansion projects;
• Experience in mission-critical environments, with a focus on high availability, scalability, and business continuity;
• Experience with technical project management, supporting multidisciplinary teams, and liaising with vendors.
