About the role

  • Commissioning Assistant Project Manager providing management for electrical and specialty systems QAQC and startup. Collaborating with teams to ensure project success across various locations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general management for electrical and/or specialty systems QAQC and Commissioning scopes of work
  • Assist in commissioning and startup schedules
  • Contact vendors to obtain materials for construction projects
  • Maintain employee relations and conduct performance reviews
  • Ensure projects are completed profitably, in a timely manner, and according to customer expectations
  • Collaborate with crew, customers, foreman, and general contractors to ensure proper job progress

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management/Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of Project Management, Construction Management, Project Engineering, or Commissioning Management experience
  • Experience of commissioning/start-up experience for electrical and/or mechanical systems
  • Proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of the electrical construction trade is preferred
