About the role
- Design Engineer producing innovative CAD designs in Catia V5 for aerospace projects. Collaborating with OEM customers and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Produce innovative design development in Catia V5, providing critical technical insights and collaborating on key customer decisions to drive project success
- Development of interface control models (ICM) in the digital mockup
- Storage of files in 3DExperience PLM database
- Implement technical solutions to ensure they are compliant with all relevant customer, regulatory, and airworthiness requirements, within agreed program, schedule, and manufacturing constraints
- Perform all activities at a level of minimal supervision and guide other engineers within the work-package as required
Requirements
- Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Proven experience in design
- Proven track record of successful technical project delivery, showcasing ability to manage complex engineering challenges from concept to completion
- Previous design experience
- Competent in CATIA V5
- Good Communication
- Knowledge off or able to interpret design standards and processes
- Knowledge of 3DExperience PLM
- Knowledge of interface control definition for design
- Experience with working with stakeholders, lead engineers, chief engineers and project managers
