Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimise SQL queries to extract, analyse, and validate insurance data
- Work with business users and product owners to gather and document requirements
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and translate business needs into user stories
- Prepare and maintain BRDs, FSDs, User Stories & Acceptance Criteria
- Maintain version control and documentation in Confluence
- Work with cross-functional teams including Development, QA, and Architecture
- Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and UAT support
- Ensure end-to-end requirement traceability in Jira
- Communicate risks, dependencies, and impacts proactively
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst / Technical BA
- Strong experience with Jira and Confluence
- API understanding
- Experience with Postman
- Ability to create detailed process flows and wireframes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of SDLC & Agile methodologies
- Good SQL knowledge
- Knowledge on Senator/Subscribe/Acumen (any of them) is a plus
- Strong communication skills
- Familiarity with insurance processes and platforms (Guidewire, Duck Creek) is a plus
