About the role

  • Digital Analytics Consultant optimizing digital strategies through data analysis and improving customer insights. Focus on credit risk management in the banking sector with team collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze large-scale digital datasets including clickstream data to identify trends, user behavior patterns, and performance improvement opportunities.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL and SAS code to ensure efficient data extraction, transformation, and reporting processes.
  • Perform regular code reviews, validation, and optimization to enhance performance, accuracy, and scalability of analytics workflows.
  • Implement and manage change control processes to ensure proper documentation, version control, testing, and deployment of analytics code and reporting solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance policies, including PII masking, data privacy standards, and secure handling of sensitive information.
  • Build and maintain robust data models and reporting frameworks using Power BI, with strong understanding of data modeling, DAX, and dashboard performance optimization.
  • Troubleshoot data issues, perform root cause analysis, and apply strong problem-solving skills to resolve complex technical and data challenges.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, validate outputs, and ensure accuracy and consistency across reporting systems.
  • Continuously improve data processes, automation, and documentation to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.

Requirements

  • A degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. (IIT/NIT preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit risk management, with a focus on strategy development. Previous experience of analytics consulting in Banking Domain.
  • Strong proficiency in SAS, SQL, Databricks and Python is essential. Hands-on experience with AWS SageMaker, Snowflake, PowerBI.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Past experience in statistical analysis and financial modeling.
  • Excellent understanding of credit risk principles, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective credit risk strategies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Leadership experience with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
