About the role

  • Analista de InfraCloud responsible for managing public cloud environments at Evertec. Collaborating on cloud security, automation, and resource management in a fintech environment.

Responsibilities

  • Administer, operate, and sustain public cloud environments, ensuring availability, stability, and performance.
  • Manage cloud compute, networking, and storage resources.
  • Implement and maintain cloud security best practices, including access controls (IAM/RBAC), policies, and environment hardening.
  • Support the operation and evolution of container-based and orchestration environments (e.g., Kubernetes).
  • Perform monitoring, incident analysis, and troubleshooting of cloud environments, with a focus on proactive prevention.
  • Execute and support infrastructure automation using scripts and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Assist development teams with environment-related requests, deployments, and cloud integrations.
  • Contribute to cost optimization (FinOps) and efficient use of cloud resources.
  • Keep technical documentation and operational standards up to date.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with public cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of cloud compute, networking, and storage services.
  • Understanding of cloud networking (VPC/VNet, subnets, VPN, firewalls).
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and containers.
  • Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
  • Knowledge of DevOps and SRE practices.
  • Experience in multicloud environments.
  • Previous experience in the financial sector or other regulated environments.
  • Experience with access control, policy management, and cloud security.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and observability for cloud environments.
  • Experience with scripting and automation (Shell, PowerShell, or similar).
  • Ability to operate in critical environments with a focus on reliability and business continuity.
  • Cloud certifications (Azure, GCP, AWS, or OCI) are a plus.
