About the role
- Solution Consultant leading financial ERP implementation projects at Everest Systems. Guiding finance teams and ensuring compliance with local accounting standards in the integrated ERP system.
Responsibilities
- Support ERP implementation projects from a functional and process-oriented finance perspective.
- Act as a bridge between accounting stakeholders and technical ERP teams.
- Lead the accounting workstreams in ERP implementation projects.
- Analyze and redesign finance processes.
- Support chart of accounts design and financial data migration.
- Conduct workshops with clients' finance teams.
- Ensure compliance with local GAAP and IFRS requirements.
Requirements
- University degree in business administration or a related field.
- A professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, certified tax advisor) is highly desirable.
- Experience consulting for German and/or European companies.
- Strong knowledge of German accounting standards (HGB/GoBD), IFRS, and EU financial regulations.
- Solid knowledge of financial reporting and period-end closing processes.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, etc.).
- Experience in ERP implementation projects is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent German language skills.
