About the role
- Solution Consultant supporting ERP implementation projects with financial perspective in a hybrid role. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize finance processes and ensure compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Support for ERP implementation projects from a functional and process-oriented finance perspective.
- Act as the link between finance business units and technical ERP teams.
- Advise on translating FI/CO requirements into ERP configurations.
- Lead accounting/finance workstreams in ERP implementation projects.
- Analyze and redesign financial processes (general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, etc.).
- Support chart of accounts design and financial data migration.
- Define reporting structures and compliance requirements.
- Conduct workshops with clients' finance teams.
- Support testing (UAT), training, and go-live activities.
Requirements
- University degree in business administration or a related field.
- A professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, tax advisor) is highly desirable.
- Experience as a consultant for German and/or European companies.
- Solid knowledge of German accounting standards (HGB/GoBD), IFRS, and EU financial regulations.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and closing processes.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, etc.).
- Experience in ERP implementation projects is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Very good German language skills.
