About the role

  • Marketing Working Student supporting Everest Systems' go-to-market engine through various marketing activities. Engaging in event logistics, campaign operations, research, and administration in a hybrid role.

Responsibilities

  • Research relevant conferences and industry events across Europe (and selectively in the US) that align with Everest's target markets and buyer personas
  • Evaluate events for fit: audience profile, cost, sponsorship tiers, speaking opportunities, attendee quality
  • Handle event logistics end-to-end once approved: registration, booth setup, shipping, travel coordination, collateral preparation
  • Support pre-event outreach (email invitations, LinkedIn touchpoints) and post-event follow-up workflows
  • Coordinate with Franz, Stefan, and the field team on scheduling and event-specific needs
  • Learn and operate within HubSpot for core marketing tasks: contact and list management, list uploads and segmentation, email sends
  • Build and manage email nurture sequences and automated workflows
  • Set up and maintain suppression lists, enrollment triggers, and basic workflow logic
  • Support webinar setup and registration workflows, including follow-up sequences
  • Pull and organize lightweight reporting from HubSpot (email performance, funnel metrics, list health)
  • Pull performance reporting from advertising platforms: Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Google Analytics, Reddit
  • Compile cross-platform reports into a consistent format for weekly review
  • Support campaign setup tasks: building ad sets, configuring targeting, uploading creatives, adjusting budgets per direction
  • Monitor campaigns for pacing and flag anomalies (overspend, underperformance, disapproved ads)
  • Create and publish landing pages in our CMS for campaigns, events, webinars, and product launches
  • Make updates to existing pages as needed (copy changes, CTA updates, new assets)
  • Ensure pages follow brand guidelines and are consistent with our messaging
  • Set up and manage our recurring live weekly demo, including a session timed for European audiences
  • Handle the operational side: platform setup, registration pages, calendar invites, reminder emails, post-event follow-up
  • Support one-off webinars as needed — coordinate with speakers, manage rehearsals, run day-of logistics
  • Support the European field team with localized materials, event coordination, and account research
  • Help prepare for field events: attendee lists, briefing docs, personalized outreach drafts
  • Assist with territory-specific research and local market context
  • Monitor competitor activity: website changes, pricing updates, feature launches, hiring signals, review site presence (G2, Gartner Peer Insights)
  • Track relevant industry news and trends in the ERP / finance software space
  • Maintain a competitive intelligence tracker on a regular cadence (weekly or biweekly)
  • Flag notable shifts or opportunities to the marketing and sales teams
  • Research and identify target contacts at accounts in Everest's ICP — CFOs, Controllers, VP Finance, Heads of Accounting
  • Enrich contact records with accurate information before upload to HubSpot/Salesforce
  • Support list building for campaigns, events, and outbound motions
  • Help maintain data hygiene across our CRM
  • Draft LinkedIn post variations from existing content (blog posts, case studies, webinar clips, product updates)
  • Schedule and publish posts to the Everest company page
  • Track engagement metrics and report on what's performing
  • Support the team in building a consistent cadence of company page activity

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a university program in Germany (marketing, business, communications, or related field)
  • Genuine interest in B2B marketing, SaaS, or enterprise technology
  • Comfortable working independently with limited real-time supervision — you'll get clear direction and playbooks, but you need to be able to run with things
  • Fluent and enthusiastic about using AI tools in your work — we use AI for drafting, research, analysis, and content creation, and we expect you to as well
  • Detail-oriented and organized — a lot of this work is operational, and accuracy matters
  • Strong written communication in English; German language skills are a plus for European market work
  • Familiarity with any of the following is a bonus (but not required — we'll train you): HubSpot, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Google Analytics, basic CMS tools

Benefits

  • Work in a highly motivated and international team
  • Interest in a long-term and continuous cooperation
  • Flexible working hours
