About the role
- CSC L1 Controller supporting monitoring and management of satellite systems within Eutelsat's fleet. Collaborating with operational teams to ensure continuity and quality of services.
Responsibilities
- Handle routine and moderately complex operational tasks, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Act as first point of contact for operational inquiries; provide initial support and escalate to L2 as needed.
- Track and verify the operation of customer services across the satellite fleet; detect and escalate anomalies.
- Identify, document, and escalate operational incidents following established procedures.
- Share relevant operational data within CSC and with other departments.
- Maintain and update the Operational Database accurately.
- Assist Sales, Planning, and Engineering teams with operational queries.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or Telecommunications.
- Medium-level experience in satellite communications operations.
- Satellite communications technology and measurement techniques
- Earth station operations
- Baseband technology
- Familiarity with modern IT systems and operational software
- Ability to follow detailed operational procedures
- Multitasking and stress resistance

- Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus
