About the role
- Environmental Consulting Senior Associate with ERM focusing on Environmental and Social Impact Assessment and Due Diligence projects in China. Collaborating on ESG management consulting with clients and project teams.
Responsibilities
- Act as a Consultant in Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) and Environmental and Social Due Diligence
- ESG management consulting projects, which includes but not limited to: Environmental and Social Impact Assessment
- Environmental and Social Due Diligence in line with IFC standards
- Environmental and Social/ESG Management System improvement
- EH&S regulatory and compliance service
- Responsible for managing small to medium size projects, from proposal development to delivery
- Assist on project objectives from sources and methods provided by the company or developed individually
- Communicating with clients and getting acquired information
Requirements
- Master degree in environmental engineering, environmental science, sustainable development, sociology, resettlement, or related discipline
- At least 1 - 4 years relevant environmental working experience in multi-national companies or consulting environment
- Familiar with Chinese environmental regulatory requirements and international Environmental & Social risk management standards such as IFC Performance Standard and Equator Principle
- Familiarity with software including MS Office, ArcGIS, AutoCAD, etc.
- Excellent report writing skills.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin is a fundamental requirement
- Second language skill (such as French) is preferred
