About the role
- Senior Software Engineer designing and delivering high-performance software solutions for Eptura's global platform. Collaborating with teams to build APIs using Python and Django in a hands-on leadership role.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop APIs based on application specifications and business needs.
- Deliver end-to-end solutions for key modules using **Python** and **Django**.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Test, deploy, and debug applications to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Continuously refactor and improve existing software using industry-standard principles.
- Collaborate in requirements reviews and contribute to technical planning.
- Document code and processes throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Implement multi-tier software architecture using modern technologies.
- Monitor live systems and proactively optimize performance.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to deliver impactful IT solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in **Python development**, with a strong foundation in backend engineering.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with **Django**, building scalable web applications.
- Proficient in database technologies including **PostgreSQL (PSQL)**, **RDS**, and **SQL Server**.
- Experienced in **DevOps practices**, especially Continuous Delivery and CI/CD pipelines.
- 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms, particularly **Azure** and **AWS**.
- Familiar with **Agile methodologies** and collaborative development environments.
- Hands-on experience with **Agentic AI** and its integration into software systems.
- Experience with **Java** and **GoLang** is a plus.
