About the role
- Back End Engineer responsible for building and maintaining REST APIs integrated with SQL Server. Designing batch processing workflows for large-scale data updates in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain REST APIs and backend services integrated with SQL Server.
- Design and support batch processing workflows to handle large-scale data updates and synchronization.
- Improve reliability across API, batch processing, and SQL layers, including retries, reprocessing, failure handling, and performance tuning.
- Troubleshoot production issues spanning API ↔ batch processing ↔ SQL Server.
Requirements
- Experience building REST APIs in a backend environment.
- Experience with batch processing, background jobs, scheduled workflows, or bulk data processing.
- Strong SQL skills, including queries, stored procedures, and performance awareness.
- Experience with C# / .NET and SQL Server.
- Experience with CI/CD, automation, or DevOps-related tooling.
- Experience in high-volume backend or data-processing systems.
