Responsibilities
- **Data Strategy Development**:
- Lead the design and implementation of comprehensive data strategies that align with clients' business objectives.
- Conduct assessments of current data capabilities and provide actionable insights to enhance data-driven decision-making.
- Develop roadmaps for data management, analytics, and governance initiatives.
- **Data Governance**:
- Establish and implement data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
- Define and enforce data standards, policies, and procedures across the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with data regulations and industry standards.
- **Client Consulting**:
- Work closely with clients to understand their data challenges and provide tailored consulting solutions.
- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and presentations to educate clients on data governance best practices.
- Lead client engagements, manage stakeholder expectations, and deliver high-quality consulting services.
- **Project Management**:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Lead and coordinate with internal teams to ensure project deliverables.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
- **Thought Leadership**:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, upcoming regional and global data regulations, and best practices in data management and governance.
- Lead and mentor team of consultants and analysts and effectively enable them to grow.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or any data related field.
- 9+ years of experience in data management, data governance, or related roles.
- Proven track record of successfully leading data strategy and governance projects for large organizations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of DAMA or NDMO.
- Experience in consulting and client management is highly desirable.
- Being an **ARABIC** speaker is a **must**.
- **Skills:**
- Strong understanding of data governance principles, frameworks, and tools.
- Proficiency in data management and analytics platforms (e.g., SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent bilingual verbal/written communication skills (Arabic and English).
- Exceptional presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- **Preferred Qualifications: **
- Certifications in data governance (e.g., DAMA, CIMP).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data technologies.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, KSA Personal Data Protection Law) and their impact on data governance.
