About the role
- Team Lead for Global Trade & Customs Compliance ensuring compliance with regulations in the wind energy sector. Leading the team and developing compliance strategies for global operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical and disciplinary leadership for the Customs, Export Control and Trade Compliance functions
- Develop and implement a global trade compliance strategy
- Ensure compliance with national and international customs and export control regulations
- Establish and maintain compliance structures, including risk analyses and the development or adjustment of internal policies
- Oversee existing authorizations and manage new applications (e.g., AEO/C, CBAM, EUDR)
- Lead and prepare internal and external audits
Requirements
- Degree in international trade, customs, logistics or equivalent vocational training (e.g., freight forwarding clerk or wholesale and foreign trade management clerk) with several years of professional experience and qualification as a customs and foreign trade specialist
- Leadership experience in a globally operating international team
- Extensive expertise in customs, export control and trade compliance
- Solid knowledge of national and international customs and export control regulations
- Experience working with SAP GTS and MS Office
- Fluent German and English (spoken and written)
