About the role

  • Talent Acquisition Specialist managing full-cycle recruitment processes across multiple teams for the organization. Working closely with hiring managers to strengthen overall talent experience and improve hiring practices.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment from role scoping and sourcing through interviews, selection, and offer.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define hiring needs and develop effective hiring strategies.
  • Write compelling job postings and manage candidate pipelines across relevant sourcing channels.
  • Create and maintain a strong talent pipeline through partnerships with universities, colleges, and trade institutions.
  • Conduct candidate screening and structured interviews to assess experience and potential.
  • Guide hiring managers through structured and fair selection processes.
  • Ensure a thoughtful and professional candidate experience.
  • Continuously improve recruiting workflows, templates, and hiring processes.
  • Maintain and optimize our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and candidate pipelines.
  • Track and analyze hiring metrics such as pipeline health, time-to-fill, and candidate conversion.
  • Help build scalable hiring practices that support organizational growth.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, or HR with significant involvement in hiring.
  • Experience managing full-cycle recruitment in a dynamic, evolving environment.
  • Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and act as a trusted partner.
  • Familiarity with Canadian employment and human rights legislation related to hiring.
  • Experience working with ATS platforms and recruitment data analysis.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and coordination skills.
