About the role

  • Service Engineering Team Leader providing direct supervision to service engineers at Emerson. Driving operational excellence and customer satisfaction in the automation field.

Responsibilities

  • Assign and schedule tasks for the service engineering team to ensure timely and quality delivery.
  • Monitor team performance, including utilization, customer satisfaction, and service quality.
  • Actively support the team by performing tasks alongside them when needed.
  • Ensure service jobs meet all requirements, deliverables, and schedules.
  • Oversee certification, training, and development for service engineers.
  • Ensure compliance with Emerson’s business processes, including documentation, timesheets, and site visit reports.
  • Promote adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and standards.
  • Set clear goals, manage results, and fulfill HR responsibilities for your team.
  • Manage orders and maintenance contracts for specific customers, including cost control and change order management.
  • Foster strong customer relationships and maintain financial accountability for contracts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (such as control engineering, computer science, or electronics) or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in automation and control systems within process industries within similar positions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Italian and English.
  • Ability to travel and work at customer sites as required.
  • Project management skills and a valid driver’s license.
