About the role

• Engenheiro de projetos de instrumentação na Emerson em Sorocaba-SP. Responsável pela execução e aplicação de metodologias do PMO em projetos.

Responsibilities

• Apply PMO methodologies and standards to all projects; actively participate in the ongoing development and implementation of the PMO, ensuring local applicability and adoption;
• In close collaboration with the assigned Project Manager and other project team representatives, serve as the primary client contact for the project's technical scope;
• Support the organization of client purchase orders and assist with their timely entry into Emerson's commercial systems;
• Maximize project scope and profitability and maintain schedule control, minimizing undesirable discounts/concessions;
• Participate in internal project execution meetings to ensure client requirements are communicated and clearly understood by all support groups;

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical, Aeronautical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Control and Automation, Chemical, or Production Engineering;
• 5 years of experience, preferably in the instrumentation and/or process control and automation industry;
• Experience with technical drawings;
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365;
• Availability for occasional domestic/international travel;
• Advanced English for technical meetings with teams and clients from other countries;
