Field Service Engineer responsible for installation and technical support of Emerson instrumentation at customer sites. Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards while providing customer service across Italy.
Responsibilities
Install, commission, and maintain Emerson Measurement Solutions instrumentation at customer sites.
Provide technical support and resolve customer issues related to process instrumentation.
Perform calibration, troubleshooting, and corrective maintenance on instrumentation.
Conduct acceptance tests and install instrumentation.
Deliver customer training on Emerson instrumentation and applications.
Adhere to Emerson’s local and international trade compliance procedures.
Requirements
Degree or technical diploma in an Engineering field such as electronics, electrical, automation, instrumentation, or industrial IT.
1-3 years of practical experience in calibration, installation, and troubleshooting of process instrumentation.
Knowledge of fundamental measurement principles (pressure, temperature, level, flow).
Good communication skills and proficiency in Italian and English (spoken and written).
Availability to work outside office hours and perform on-call services when required.
Willingness to travel frequently across Italy and occasionally abroad or offshore, including overnight stays.
Valid B driver’s license.
