About the role

• Field Service Engineer responsible for installation and technical support of Emerson instrumentation at customer sites. Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards while providing customer service across Italy.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and maintain Emerson Measurement Solutions instrumentation at customer sites.
• Provide technical support and resolve customer issues related to process instrumentation.
• Perform calibration, troubleshooting, and corrective maintenance on instrumentation.
• Conduct acceptance tests and install instrumentation.
• Deliver customer training on Emerson instrumentation and applications.
• Adhere to Emerson’s local and international trade compliance procedures.

Requirements

• Degree or technical diploma in an Engineering field such as electronics, electrical, automation, instrumentation, or industrial IT.
• 1-3 years of practical experience in calibration, installation, and troubleshooting of process instrumentation.
• Knowledge of fundamental measurement principles (pressure, temperature, level, flow).
• Good communication skills and proficiency in Italian and English (spoken and written).
• Availability to work outside office hours and perform on-call services when required.
• Willingness to travel frequently across Italy and occasionally abroad or offshore, including overnight stays.
• Valid B driver’s license.
