About the role
- Project Accountant managing revenue recognition and project financials for T&M Global Revenue team. Collaborating with finance teams and ensuring compliance with ASC 606 standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage project accounting activities, ensuring accurate revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606.
- Aid in the preparation and analysis of project financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Collaborate with project managers and manufacturing finance teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting.
- Assist with month-end close processes and preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and disclosures related to project accounting.
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies.
Requirements
- CPA required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- US Citizenship Or Green Card Holder
- Minimum 2 years of industry experience in project accounting, cost accounting or related roles.
- Strong understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
- Proficiency in Oracle EBIZ systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Tableau or Power BI experience preferred.
- Prior public accounting experience strongly preferred.
