About the role
- Cloud Engineer deploying and managing cloud infrastructure for 5G core networks at ELITS. Working with Kubernetes and PostgreSQL for cloud-native products' lifecycle management.
Responsibilities
- Deploy, operate, and manage the lifecycle of cloud-native products across containerized and virtualized environments.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliable performance for customers worldwide.
Requirements
- Experience with VMware, KVM, and OpenStack for virtual machine-based deployments and operations.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm, Kubernetes Operators, service mesh technologies, and Ingress/load balancer configuration.
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL installation, configuration, backup and recovery, and performance tuning (including query optimization, indexing, and parameter tuning).
- Understanding of high-availability and data migration practices such as primary/standby setups, replication, and clustering.
- Skilled in Linux system administration and performance tuning, with a solid understanding of TCP/IP.
- Knowledge of DNS, firewalls, load balancing, and TLS certificate management.
- Familiarity with storage technologies, including local disks, NAS, SAN, and Kubernetes persistent storage using PV and PVC.
