About the role

  • Administrator and application supporter (GIS/BIS) ensuring reliable operation of internal GIS and BIS systems. Involves supporting users and implementing new software updates.

Responsibilities

  • You ensure the secure and reliable operation of the internal Geographic Information System (GIS) and the Asset Information System (BIS).
  • You evaluate and implement new software and oversee updates and upgrades.
  • You act as the point of contact for system users regarding application questions, issues, or outages.
  • You serve as the interface between users and the system provider/vendor to implement departmental requirements in the system.

Requirements

  • You hold a completed degree, for example in IT or a comparable relevant discipline.
  • You have several years of experience in a relevant professional field.
  • You have practical experience leading and contributing to IT projects.
  • Strong communication skills and a results-oriented work style complete your profile.
