About the role
- Network Engineer developing enterprise-wide infrastructure design and troubleshooting for the DoD. Supporting defense missions with expertise in network architecture and complex system solutions.
Responsibilities
- Use your experience in network design and architecture, system interoperability, OSI model, network transport layers, multi-protocol label switching, gateway protocol, and virtual routing and forwarding to support the nation’s defense
- Develop enterprise-wide infrastructure design, troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, analyze current working infrastructures, and increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical network systems
- Guide our team of problem-solvers to help the DoD evolve and deploy new capabilities and technologies
- Optimize client operations and modernization using your expertise in routing and switching, network design and architecture
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with leading technical project delivery for large, complex organizations
- 5+ years of experience in network architecture and design
- 4+ years of experience with Cybersecurity
- Experience with architecting Zero Trust solutions, road maps, and capabilities in alignment with industry standards, including NIST 800-207 and DoD Zero Trust Reference Architecture
- Experience with leading product selection initiatives, including A&O, AI, analytics, secure DevOps, identify and access management, or network access control
- Ability to work with and guide senior leaders, including CISO, CIO, and CTO, and executives to ideate, build, and execute cybersecurity capability maturation
