Responsibilities
- Elevate Edwards leadership in Public Affairs externally and internally
- Lead implementation of Market Access and Government Affairs programs to secure patient access and funding
- Engage with stakeholders to define access pathways within the healthcare system
- Implement programs in alignment with Business Units and EMEACLA strategy
- Establish and maintain a network of contacts with policymakers and payers
- Collaborate with Business Units to deliver differentiated value proposition
- Design and execute Public Affairs strategies to enhance Edwards's role in healthcare decision making
- Formulate access strategy for technologies in structural heart
- Monitoring changes in the funding and policy environment impacting Edwards portfolio
Requirements
- Working knowledge of healthcare systems and policies in Poland
- Knowledge and experience of health, economic and social issues and trends in Poland
- Knowledge and experience in health economics and/or health outcomes
- Expertise in Public Affairs, Government Affairs and Market Access, with strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
- Fluency in English (written and oral)
- Significant in depth experience in market access, government affairs, advocacy and external engagement in the Medical Technology and/or pharmaceutical industry in Poland
- Business level English and Polish, both written and spoken
- Bachelors degree with a postgraduate qualification, preferably a Master’s degree, in Political Science, Lifesciences, Law, Economics, or Business
