About the role
- Product Engineering Leader accountable for turbofan module design and technical justification at POWERTECH. Leading cross-functional teams and driving innovation in aerospace propulsion technologies.
Responsibilities
- Organize and supervise Module-level design (Fan, LPC, HPC, Combustor, HPT, LPT, Controls, etc.)
- Ensure technical validation through analysis, simulation, and test results.
- Conduct design reviews (PDR/CDR) to confirm design maturity, resolve technical risks, and validate compliance.
- Define and manage technical maturity gates (PDR, CDR, QR) on engineering aspects supporting the Product Management strategy and milestones.
- Support manufacturing department through DFM/DFA collaboration.
- Ensure high rank of OTD, FTR and deploy a mindset of accountability.
- Mentor, coach, and develop the product engineering team, promoting continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience within turbofan propulsion, aerospace, or other complex engineered systems in an engineering management position.
- Solid understanding of turbofan architectures, performance drivers, and technology road maps.
- Solid experience in product engineering and detailed design, multi-physics (fluid-dynamics, aerothermal, electromagnetic, mechanical behavior…)
- Exposure to customer, OEMs, and large-scale development programs.
