About the role

  • Join the administrative team as a Learning and Teaching Administrator. Support the efficient delivery of activities in the School of Literatures, Languages and Cultures with key professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the efficient and smooth delivery of activities related to the School’s taught programmes.
  • Collaborate with key senior professional services staff to deliver exceptional and adaptable student and academic services.
  • Support students effectively in this proactive and demanding position.

Requirements

  • Vocational qualification (e.g., N/SVQ Level 2 or 3, ONC, or equivalent) with relevant work experience; or a general secondary education (e.g., Standard Grade or equivalent) combined with demonstrable relevant work experience.
  • Administrative experience, preferably in an HE environment.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft software packages (Word, Excel, etc).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Organisation and time management skills to plan and organise activities and events.
  • Demonstration of ability to provide an effective service in a customer service role.
