About the role
- Technical Manager overseeing the maintenance and operation of building technology. Leading a team and ensuring compliance with regulations in facility management practices.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for the maintenance and smooth operation of building technology
- Lead, develop and motivate the team
- Plan, control and supervise maintenance and repair activities
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, safety and quality standards
- Identify and implement innovative optimization measures in technical facility management (concept development, budget planning, etc.)
- This includes technical systems as well as the entire building fabric and external grounds
- Coordinate external service providers and monitor budget planning
- Collaborate with commercial facility management for billing following technical verification
- Digitally document all events (maintenance, repairs) using our FM software
- Serve as the primary technical contact for our building technicians
- Task allocation, work preparation and scheduling
Requirements
- Completed technical vocational training with additional qualification (e.g., master craftsman, technician or equivalent) or a degree in building services engineering, architecture or civil engineering with a technical orientation
- Several years of professional experience in facility management or technical property management
- Experience leading teams and managing external service providers
- Strong organizational skills and a structured approach to work
- Enthusiasm for digitalization and for optimizing processes and workflows
- Innovative mindset and solution-oriented, pragmatic working style
- Very good knowledge of common Office applications; experience with FM tools is required
