About the role

Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for procurement at our sites in Menden and Luckenwalde (operational & strategic)
- Lead, coach and develop the decentralized purchasing teams
- Harmonize processes and implement uniform purchasing standards
- Optimize supply chains and build and maintain strategic supplier relationships
- Cost and quality management: identify opportunities and consistently implement measures
- Cross-functional collaboration with Production, Logistics, Development and Sales
- Regular on-site presence at both locations – you lead where value is created
Requirements
- Degree in business administration, engineering or equivalent qualification
- Several years of experience in purchasing / supply chain management, ideally with initial leadership responsibility
- Passion for process optimization, efficiency and structure
- Strong leadership skills, excellent communication and decisiveness
- Hands-on mentality with a holistic view – you think entrepreneurially and act solution-oriented
- High willingness to travel and ability to connect people and sites
- Confident use of ERP systems and modern digital procurement tools
