About the role
- Tech Lead with solid experience in Mainframe development at ECCOX SOFTWARE S.A. Ensuring technical excellence and supporting the team in critical demands.
Responsibilities
- Ensure technical quality and adherence to Mainframe development standards, including hands-on work in COBOL, especially on critical functionalities.
- Provide specialized support to the team in analysis and debugging of complex systems involving CICS, DB2 and JCL.
- Act as the focal point between multidisciplinary teams, promoting alignment, collaboration and engagement.
- Produce, organize and maintain up-to-date project management documentation: meeting minutes, dashboards, schedules, risk plans, status reports, scope proposals, and other materials.
- Monitor project KPIs and performance, communicate progress to clients, executives and other stakeholders, highlighting risks, results and opportunities for improvement.
- Lead and ensure, together with project management, compliance with predefined deadlines, scope, quality and costs.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Mainframe development;
- Proficiency in COBOL, CICS, DB2 and JCL;
- Experience in technical leadership or as a technical reference for the team;
- Good communication skills, analytical ability and a collaborative attitude;
- Experience in project tracking, demand management and stakeholder relations.
