Responsibilities
Lead business development efforts identifying appropriate prospects
Take a leadership role representing Eastern Bank in business and community activities
Actively identify opportunities to cross-sell other bank products and services to customers and prospects
Review existing credit facilities and new credit applications, analyze credit quality
Present relevant data and recommendations to the Team Leader and Credit Committee
Maintain awareness of maturating credits, overdue payments
Work with Portfolio Managers to ensure timely financial information collection
Requirements
Proven underwriting abilities
5 plus years’ experience in commercial real estate analysis and/or commercial banking
Formal bank credit training is preferred
Familiarity with top tier and middle market commercial companies within the New England marketplace
Proficient/computer literate in Microsoft Word and Excel
