About the role
- Senior Front-end Developer designing and developing web and hybrid mobile applications at DXC Technology. Responsible for implementing standards-compliant front-end code and collaborating with development teams.
Responsibilities
- Act as a senior developer contributing to the design and development of web and hybrid mobile applications
- Implement standards-compliant, cross-browser front-end code for enterprise web and mobile applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Build responsive web applications that work across modern desktop, tablet, and mobile browsers
- Develop complex JavaScript applications using popular frameworks and libraries that integrate with back-end services via APIs
- Develop hybrid mobile applications using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Cordova
- Produce clear and maintainable technical documentation to support implementation and maintenance
- Work closely with the manager and team members to ensure quality, schedule, and scope of work
- Actively participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in web/front-end development
- Strong experience in developing front-end web applications using one or more JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS, EmberJS, or ReactJS
- Experience in building hybrid mobile applications using Ionic framework
- Solid knowledge of Responsive Web Design and front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation.
- Hands-on experience in developing hybrid mobile applications using Ionic and Cordova, including application distribution processes for iOS and Android
- Strong skills in UI development using HTML, CSS, especially HTML5/CSS3, with good understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
- Familiar with SCRUM framework, JIRA Agile, and CI tools such as Jenkins
- Experience or basic knowledge in server-side programming (Java or .NET technologies such as ASP.NET, MVC, SharePoint), web services, and JSON is a plus
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate, share knowledge, and contribute to team objectives
- Ability to work under pressure, take responsibility, and maintain a positive, professional attitude
- Good command of English (speaking, reading, and writing).
