- Senior Software Architect responsible for microservices architecture and development for Deutsche WertpapierService Bank AG. Working with a modern technology stack and collaborating across teams.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for the architecture of our microservices – from design to implementation
- Use of a modern Java-based technology stack (including AWS Cloud, Kubernetes and Kafka Streaming)
- Analyze and review applications for efficiency and resilience
- Develop sustainable architectural and design guidelines
- Conduct reviews to ensure compliance with architecture and design guidelines as well as regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders in platform operations
- Provide guidance and promote knowledge transfer within teams
- Occasional business travel to our other locations
Requirements
- You have completed a degree or vocational training with a focus on computer science or hold a comparable qualification
- You have extensive experience in the development and architecture of complex enterprise applications and microservices
- Strong understanding of architecture patterns (Event-Driven Architecture, Domain-Driven Design, etc.)
- Familiar with agile project work and supportive of agile methodologies
- Very good knowledge of Java and development of Spring Boot applications with Kafka
- Knowledge of REST / SOAP / MQ, Oracle / PostgreSQL, Angular, TypeScript, containers and cloud technologies (especially Kubernetes)
- Test automation (Gauge) and GitOps
- Very good language skills in German (C1) and English
- Openness to challenges and ability to communicate transparently
