About the role
- Team lead for IT Solutions Architects at Vaudoise, focusing on digital transformation efforts. Ensure architectural best practices while managing a team of application architects in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Application Solution Architects (5 people)
- Define and implement the solution architecture strategy; enrich the architecture repository with standards, design patterns, and best practices
- Oversee architects' support during the analysis and design phases of digital transformation projects
- Maintain continuous technology watch, own the solution architecture vision and effectively propagate it across the organization
- Support the skills development of your team as well as the project delivery teams
- Manage relationships with suppliers, external partners and internal stakeholders
- Lead governance related to decision-making needs in the solution architecture domain
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science (e.g., HES) or Bachelor/Master (EPFL)
- 10+ years of IT experience across different roles and/or environments, including at least 5 years managing teams of experts/architects
- Proven ability to translate future business capabilities and requirements into solution architecture requirements
- Experience with large-scale transformation programs and integration/transition challenges
- Expertise in cloud migration, particularly Microsoft Azure, SaaS solutions, and modern development technologies
- Experience managing an enterprise architecture repository, ideally using a tool (Sparx, IRIS, Leanx, Bizzdesign, etc.)
- Excellent analytical, planning and organizational skills
- Experience in a similar industry is helpful but not required
- Languages: French: fluent / English: minimum B2
