  • Insights Manager responsible for guiding marketing and commercial strategies at DS Smith. Transforming market data into actionable insights and ensuring competitive industry positioning.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and interpret market data to identify future trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Drive EMEA insight agenda and support growth targets
  • Provide intelligence for marketing campaigns, commercial strategies, and tender applications
  • Develop and deliver in-depth market analysis
  • Transform complex data into actionable insights and compelling value propositions
  • Monitor competitor activity and PESTEL influences across European markets
  • Ensure commercial teams remain at the forefront of the industry

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent in a related field (Business/Marketing/Data)
  • Demonstrable experience in a Marketing, Business Intelligence, or Insights role
  • Exceptional analytical, data interpretation, and problem-solving skills
  • Passionate storyteller with the ability to craft compelling narratives from data
  • Able to work independently while maintaining strong working relationships with European colleagues
  • Pragmatic, detail-orientated & delivery focused
  • Adaptable mindset to manage reactive market shifts as well as planned research
  • Confident, highly motivated and results-orientated
