About the role
- Information Technology Analyst for Dow, designing and supporting business solutions in Midland, MI or Houston, TX. Collaborates with teams to meet business needs and improve processes.
Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, and supports solutions and processes to meet business needs and requirements.
- Works in a business process, enabling, or implementation team, and applies general knowledge of Information Systems.
- Collaborate with senior developers and business analysts to troubleshoot and optimize integration processes.
- Document integration processes and maintain technical specifications.
- Understand broader technical vision of the Information Technology Services organization and align solutions accordingly.
- Lead and/or implement continuous improvement efforts.
- Ability work independently and as a team member.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in IT discipline preferred or a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree
- Familiar with SAP systems, ETL concepts, and common database and application integrations.
- Basic understanding with common web communication protocols (HTTP/HTTPS, REST, SOAP, ODATA)
- Knowledge of common authentication methods and certificates (SSO, OAuth, SAML, Basic, Keypairs)
- Strong knowledge and expertise with Windows system administration
- Active Directory knowledge and experience is a plus
- Linux administration experience is a plus
- Strong working experience in a cloud environment (Azure)
- Entra ID knowledge and experience is a plus
- On premise and cloud deployment/upgrade experience
- Good expertise within DevSecOps practices
- Hands-on experience with DevSecOps toolset is a plus

- Visual Studio and Git
- CI/CD pipeline experience is a plus
- Automation and scripting skills like PowerShell, Azure CLI, and IaC templates
