About the role

  • Information Technology Analyst for Dow, designing and supporting business solutions in Midland, MI or Houston, TX. Collaborates with teams to meet business needs and improve processes.

Responsibilities

  • Designs, develops, and supports solutions and processes to meet business needs and requirements.
  • Works in a business process, enabling, or implementation team, and applies general knowledge of Information Systems.
  • Collaborate with senior developers and business analysts to troubleshoot and optimize integration processes.
  • Document integration processes and maintain technical specifications.
  • Understand broader technical vision of the Information Technology Services organization and align solutions accordingly.
  • Lead and/or implement continuous improvement efforts.
  • Ability work independently and as a team member.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in IT discipline preferred or a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree
  • Familiar with SAP systems, ETL concepts, and common database and application integrations.
  • Basic understanding with common web communication protocols (HTTP/HTTPS, REST, SOAP, ODATA)
  • Knowledge of common authentication methods and certificates (SSO, OAuth, SAML, Basic, Keypairs)
  • Strong knowledge and expertise with Windows system administration
  • Active Directory knowledge and experience is a plus
  • Linux administration experience is a plus
  • Strong working experience in a cloud environment (Azure)
  • Entra ID knowledge and experience is a plus
  • On premise and cloud deployment/upgrade experience
  • Good expertise within DevSecOps practices
  • Hands-on experience with DevSecOps toolset is a plus
  • Azure DevOps / GitHub
  • AKS / Containers
  • Visual Studio and Git
  • CI/CD pipeline experience is a plus
  • Automation and scripting skills like PowerShell, Azure CLI, and IaC templates
  • Software lifecycle management experience
  • Good communication, troubleshooting, documentation, and time-management skills.
