About the role

  • (Senior) Product Designer creating healthcare platform experiences in Berlin. Designing user-friendly tools for clinical documentation and patient apps while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end product experiences across our healthcare platform: from clinical documentation tools and workflow configuration interfaces to patient-facing mobile apps.
  • Create developer-ready UI designs using our component library (Shadcn) and iteratively evolve our design system as new features are released.
  • Conduct user research with clinicians and patients, translating frontline insights into intuitive workflows that balance clinical complexity with usability.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and clinical stakeholders to refine requirements, challenge assumptions, and ensure designs meet both user needs and compliance standards.
  • Champion accessibility best practices to ensure our products serve diverse patient populations and clinical users.
  • Shape and establish our design practice from the ground up: define processes, rituals, and ways of working that scale with the team.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional experience in product design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating both UI and UX capabilities across web and mobile platforms.
  • Deep expertise in Figma, including component libraries, design systems, prototyping, and developer handoff workflows.
  • Experience designing complex B2B SaaS products or enterprise tools where users manage workflows, data, or multi-step processes.
  • Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles.
  • Ability to balance user advocacy with business constraints, technical feasibility, and regulatory requirements.
  • Comfortable working autonomously while maintaining strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate design decisions and facilitate productive critique.
  • Bonus: Experience with healthcare software, clinical workflows, or regulated industries (e.g., medical devices, fintech).
  • Bonus: Familiarity with Vue.js, Tailwind CSS, Flutter, or modern front-end frameworks to understand technical constraints and opportunities.
  • Bonus: German language skills for direct interaction with clinical users.

Benefits

  • Meaningful work: design products that directly improve patient care and clinical workflows.
  • Collaborative environment: flat hierarchies, clear common objectives, and high levels of trust.
  • Professional growth: shape your own path as we grow.
  • Hybrid working culture: our office in Berlin Kreuzkölln is a great place to collaborate and meet in person.
  • Direct impact: work closely with our founding team (clinicians and engineers) and see your designs shipped to production quickly.
  • Fast feedback loops with real users.
  • Other perks include coverage of public transport costs (Deutschlandticket), a sports membership, and more.
