  • Investment Controlling Specialist managing the validation of financial assets at a private bank in Hamburg. Responsibilities include data quality monitoring and process optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Recording, checking and validating valuation prices for securities, derivatives and foreign exchange
  • Monitoring data quality and identifying and resolving discrepancies in price and valuation data
  • Assisting with market-conformity reviews of all securities and FX transactions
  • Resolving valuation differences with investment management companies (KVGs)
  • Further development and optimization of existing processes — with a particular focus on automating current workflows

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training as a bank or investment clerk, or a successfully completed degree in economics/business administration
  • Extensive knowledge of common financial instruments (e.g., equities, bonds, derivatives, money market and FX products)
  • Confident use of market data and valuation systems such as Bloomberg; ideally also Refinitiv, WM Data or similar tools
  • Structured, accurate and independent working style with a strong commitment to quality
  • Strong team orientation, reliability and a sense of responsibility
  • Analytical thinking and a passion for reliably understanding complex issues
