About the role

  • Analyst in Capital Markets at a traditional bank evaluating financial reports and assessing risks. Collaborating cross-departmentally on projects in a dynamic banking environment.

Responsibilities

  • Analysis of financial statements (HGB, IFRS) and rating reports
  • Preparation and submission of well-founded decision papers for approval
  • Monitoring capital markets business with respect to counterparty, issuer and country limits
  • Analysis of annual financial statements and key metrics of investment funds
  • Support in the introduction of product innovations
  • Cross-departmental coordination with Risk Controlling, Treasury, Accounting and other specialist departments
  • Participation in cross-departmental projects

Requirements

  • Completed banking apprenticeship and/or degree in economics or business administration
  • Strong expertise in lending/credit business, particularly in analyzing complex financial statements
  • Very good German and English language skills
  • Analytical and entrepreneurial thinking and approach
  • Good self-organization and a strong technical affinity
  • Strong teamwork skills and flexibility
