Responsibilities
Review, code, and post all types of accounting documents
Support with month-end and year-end closings
Preparation of VAT returns (preliminary VAT filings)
Processing travel expense and credit card statements
Management of payment processes, including processing incoming invoices and maintaining vendor master data
Careful and conscientious management of the overall accounting function
Requirements
Completed commercial/vocational training and 2–3 years of professional experience in accounting
Strong numerical aptitude and excellent accounting knowledge
Confident user of Google Suite products and common accounting software such as DATEV
Excellent organizational skills and a focused, reliable, solution-oriented work style
Ability to work independently and responsibly
Fluent in German and English
