About the role

  • Buchhalter supporting management with financial responsibilities in a hybrid work environment. Involves various accounting tasks and requires professional skills and experience in finance.

Responsibilities

  • Review, code, and post all types of accounting documents
  • Support with month-end and year-end closings
  • Preparation of VAT returns (preliminary VAT filings)
  • Processing travel expense and credit card statements
  • Management of payment processes, including processing incoming invoices and maintaining vendor master data
  • Careful and conscientious management of the overall accounting function

Requirements

  • Completed commercial/vocational training and 2–3 years of professional experience in accounting
  • Strong numerical aptitude and excellent accounting knowledge
  • Confident user of Google Suite products and common accounting software such as DATEV
  • Excellent organizational skills and a focused, reliable, solution-oriented work style
  • Ability to work independently and responsibly
  • Fluent in German and English
