About the role
- DataViz Analyst transforming complex data into visual insights at DOMVS iT, ensuring information quality and governance while collaborating with various teams.
Responsibilities
- The DataViz Analyst is responsible for transforming complex data into clear, concise, and easily interpretable visual information, supporting decision-making at different levels of the company.
- Creates and evolves dashboards and interactive reports, ensuring the consistency, quality, and governance of the presented information.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI visualization tools.
- Translate business needs into effective visual solutions, prioritizing clarity and usability.
- Ensure the integrity and coherence of presented data, in alignment with the data governance team.
- Partner with BI, Analytics, Data Engineering teams and business areas to structure KPIs, metrics, and strategic views.
- Propose design improvements and data storytelling strategies to maximize the impact of information.
- Perform testing, validation, and documentation of visualization deliverables.
Requirements
- Experience with data visualization tools, specifically Power BI
- Knowledge of SQL and data manipulation
- Analytical skills for interpreting and communicating data
- Skills in information design and data storytelling
- UX/UI
- Experience with Data Lake/Big Data environments (nice to have)
- Knowledge of tabular and multidimensional data modeling (nice to have)
- Scrum/Kanban (nice to have)
- DW/BI concepts (Star schema, Snowflake schema, Slowly Changing Dimension (SCD), grain, tuple, surrogate key) (nice to have)
- Governance (nice to have): DAMA DMBOK, DPO, LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law)
- Support training and the dissemination of best practices for using DataViz tools.
