About the role

  • Specialist in Operational Purchasing ensuring orders and deliveries for a leading online pharmacy. Collaborating with suppliers and internal teams in a hybrid role based in Mannheim.

Responsibilities

  • Processing and tracking customer- and warehouse-related orders with wholesalers and manufacturers
  • Placing special orders in coordination with Strategic Purchasing
  • Monitoring delivery deadlines and acting proactively in case of deviations
  • Communicating with suppliers to maintain long-term, trust-based relationships
  • Close collaboration with interfaces such as Accounting, Customer Service and Marketing

Requirements

  • Completed commercial vocational training or equivalent background
  • Several years of experience in operational purchasing / demand planning, ideally in the pharmaceutical, food or FMCG sectors
  • Solution-oriented, flexible, with a good sense of priorities
  • Team player with clear, respectful communication
  • Confident use of MS Excel; SAP knowledge is a plus
  • Very good German language skills, spoken and written
