About the role

  • As a PPSA Administrator, manage retail PPSA lien security requests with a collaborative team. Work involves ensuring lease and loan security documentation is accurate while handling customer interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with a team of about 4 colleagues on managing retail PPSA lien security requests
  • Review searches, create/amend/discharge registrations, and respond to 3rd party waiver inquiries
  • Ensure that all lease and loan security documentation is accurately completed, updated when required, and consistent with credit and legal requirements
  • Exercise adherence to credit and matrix authorizations, system rules, and corporate policies
  • Support the various PPSA registration needs of multiple departments and have external customer contact
  • Ensure proper security registration is in place for enforceability and binding to the corporation
  • Assist with Operations team on pre-registration and manual registration requests
  • Maintain DLL’s priority registration position by requesting and reviewing debtor and serial number searches
  • Liaise with numerous departments to ensure PPSA registration is amended to reflect changes
  • Review and process discharge requests and support end of term release documentation/letters
  • Manage the onboarding and maintenance of users and data in the third-party PPSA platform, Collateral Guard
  • Manage daily PPSA reporting process, ensuring registrations flow accurately through systems
  • Liaise with risk and legal to meet customer needs
  • Meet established service level standards for incoming customer requests
  • Ensure team goals are met and advise management of any jeopardy
  • Participate in department and cross-functional initiatives
  • Other duties as required

Requirements

  • Experience in Operations function (preferably in leasing or financing industry) is an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Excellent planning & organizational skills
  • Team-oriented with a proactive mindset in a fast-paced environment
  • Thrives in an independent, goal-driven work setting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to handle complex customer interactions and negotiations professionally
  • Adaptability and openness to change
  • Ability to work in a hybrid work model: in-office twice per week and remote work
  • Bilingual (French) an asset
  • Proficiency in MS Work & Excel (an asset)
  • Post-secondary education (an asset)
