About the role
- Senior Billing Accountant supporting billing processes and cash flow objectives at DLA Piper's global finance team. Collaborating with legal teams and ensuring compliance in billing procedures.
Responsibilities
- Du unterstützt Partner, Anwältinnen und Anwälte bei allen abrechnungsbezogenen Tätigkeiten und trägst zur effizienten Abwicklung der Abrechnungsprozesse bei
- Du übernimmst eine zentrale Rolle im „Service-to-Cash“-Prozess – ein entscheidender Faktor für das Erreichen unserer Umsatz- und Liquiditätsziele
- Du stehst in regelmäßigem Austausch mit Anwältinnen und Anwälten und fungierst bei Bedarf auch als Schnittstelle zwischen DLA Piper und unseren Mandanten
- Du verantwortest die Qualitätssicherung im gesamten Abrechnungsprozess und sorgst dafür, dass die Erwartungen von Partnern und Mandanten mit unseren internen Richtlinien in Einklang stehen
- Du arbeitest eng mit unseren Kolleginnen und Kollegen aus der Legal Administration zusammen
Requirements
- Eine abgeschlossene Ausbildung im kaufmännischen Bereich, ein abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Betriebswirtschaft oder Finanzen oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation
- Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Bereich Buchhaltung oder Abrechnung, idealerweise im Umfeld von Professional Services oder einer Kanzlei
- Erfahrung in der Sicherstellung von Genauigkeit und Compliance bei Abrechnungsprozessen
- Gute Kenntnisse der lokalen Umsatzsteuervorschriften und -richtlinien sind wünschenswert
- Kenntnisse in Finanzsystemen und Software für Abrechnung und Rechnungsstellung sind von Vorteil, z. B. SAP, E-Billing-Plattformen und MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und sehr gute Englischkenntnisse
- Hohe Einsatzbereitschaft, Flexibilität und Teamfähigkeit, Hands-on-Mentalität
